Halloween Puzzoodle is a free version of our full Puzzoodle app. The information that follows is applicable to all the Puzzoodle editions we put out, with the exception that only the full paid version allows you to create your own puzzles from your photo roll.

But that’s OK, because the free versions always have great high-resolution puzzles for you to while-away the time in a true, relaxing, jigsaw experience.

Enjoy it! … and buy the full version if you love it!

1. What do I do?/How do I start?
Quick Answer: Click a puzzle choice and start Puzzoodling! Tap the info icon (upper left corner) for Help options.

Quick Hints: Double-tapping a piece rotates it. Within Help you can tap Solve to solve it or tap Hint to see a picture of the completed mini-puzzle.

Detailed Answer: Once you see the main screen you can select from one of the three main puzzles to begin solving or select a photo from your iPhone’s Camera Roll. From there you will be shown the blank canvas of a 20 piece puzzle. Each one of those pieces is actually a 20 piece mini-puzzle that forms the complete image. Select from whichever piece you would like to begin. You will now be shown the mini-puzzle. Start dragging the pieces around, --double-tapping to rotate, if need be. When you let go of a piece in its correct space, it will lock into place and you can no longer move it. HINT: Start with the corner pieces, then finish your edge pieces before trying to place the inside pieces. Once you complete the mini-puzzle, you will need to return to the main puzzle. There you will see the completed mini-puzzle pieces and can select the next one to start solving. So, start Puzzoodling!
2. A piece won’t fit!
If you have pieces that won’t fit, maybe you haven’t rotated them yet. Double tap on any puzzle piece to make it rotate.
3. How do I save it?
Puzzoodle automatically saves your progress! You can leave Puzzoodle at any time and when you return, your puzzle is waiting for you exactly as you left it.
4. I can’t complete the puzzle!
Are you missing pieces? Slide your finger around the screen and make sure you don’t have any pieces blending into the background. If a piece won’t fit, have you tried double-tapping it to rotate it? If the mini-puzzle is just too hard or you are getting too aggravated with it, just tap on the info icon and you will be shown the Help page. From there you can select Solve and have that mini-puzzle solved for you.
5. I need more HELP!!
If you find yourself stuck at any time you can tap the info icon in the top left corner and you will be shown the Help Screen. From there you can Solve a puzzle, receive a Hint (gives you a view of the mini-puzzle you are currently working on), read through the Instruction Booklet, Reset your puzzle, or Save the full image of your puzzle to your iPhone’s Camera Roll.
6. What is the picture?/I don’t know what I’m building
Where’s your sense of mystery? OK, if you want to see what you are building while in a mini-puzzle, tap on the info icon and select Hint. That will show you the portion of the large puzzle you are currently working. If you are one of those puzzle solvers that wants the whole box top in front of them, you can tap on the info icon and Save the full image to your Camera Roll and print it out.
7. I beat the game, now what?
Congratulations for conquering the puzzles! But you still aren’t done Puzzoodling yet, are you? You can select any photograph from your iPhone’s Camera Roll and use it as your next puzzle. The possibilities are endless!

* Note that only the paid version of Puzzoodle supports making your own puzzles from your camera roll images. The good news is that it is cheap! And if you like the free puzzles, you're definitely the sort that wants the "Pro" version, aren't you? Use the link above and get yourself a copy.
